A Day in the Life of a Customer Service Representative - Dispatcher

The CSR-Dispatcher position will provide fast and friendly customer service to both internal and external customers.  They will manage day-to-day work flow efficiently while providing best in class service to our customers.  The CSR-Dispatcher will spend their time organizing, prioritizing, and equally dividing the incoming customer orders to available Field Technicians and communicate with technicians and other departments via email, text message and phone.  The CSR-Dispatcher will utilize their customer service skills to answer incoming calls related to service, billing and other departments and educate customers in choosing services and products.  In addition, they will make outbound calls to schedule, confirm, and survey upcoming or completed appointments.  They will manage customer concerns and work to resolve them efficiently and effectively.  The CSR-Dispatcher will perform other assigned duties as directed by management.  All employees will go through two half day in-house training for call answering and dispatching.

What you Need to be Qualified for the Customer Service Representative - Dispatcher Position 

  • Minimum of 2 years customer service and/or dispatch experience, preferably in the home services industry
  • Computer skills and data entry experience is a must
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with associates, superiors, vendors and customers, as well as interpersonal skills
  • The ability to multi-task in an ever-changing environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to time manage efficiently
